In Memory Of...

Psalms 91 is the chapter of the bible on which Shannon’s Place is founded as
it speaks to the miracles that happen in our worlds and the scripture I was
referencing when Shannon Thomas offers me his insight.

 

“I think when miracles are happening, there should be balloons and confetti!  I remember a time when I was whining about not seeing balloons and confetti when I knew miracles were happening all around me.

 

Shannon Thomas says to me, the balloons and confetti are there and I cannot see them cause I am simply gotten caught in living life!!

 

He was so right about where I was at that moment in time! That simple statement struck a cord with me and from that moment on, I see balloons and confetti daily!!! Miracle happen daily!!

When I asked Haylee to create a logo for Shannon’s Place and that it had to have balloons and confetti, she nailed it!

 

As I was thinking a name for this residential treatment center, I saw balloons and confetti!  It seemed only fitting to name this facility after the person who helped me to see them!”
